EXO Showcase

I have just finished watching EXO SHOWCASE (yeah, I know I'm late).
(o´∀｀o) I noted some of their answers during the Q&A, and leader Teuk, my bias in my most fave KPop group - Super Junior, was the emcee. He was asking and saying funny things to the rookie group. Hahaha. Then I thought, Teukie oppa is still Teukie oppa. LOL hahaha

I'm just going to share the things that I've tweeted, since I spazz a lot about EXO. (o´∀｀o)

Questions from international fans were raised, and the first question was from a fan in France. They were asked about what countries they would like to perform. Chanyeol and Suho answered the question, then Teukie suggested:
"How about this? Since the name of the team is EXO planet, you can visit the universe after visiting all countries on earth."
Well, that idea really makes sense and it brought me to laughter.

You know, every time I watch shows and videos of my bias KPop groups, even though the topic or the idea is only a bit funny, I usually exaggerate my laughter. HAHAHA

(what a supportive fangirl. LOL) (o´∀｀o)

Okay, back to the interview. ( =̴̶̷̤̄ .̫ =̴̶̷̤̄ )

The fan in the video asking the question was speaking in English. After it was played, Teukie asked Suho, even if it's obvious that he really didn't understand fully what the fan was saying.

Lee Teuk: Did you understand what was said on the video? Su Ho, what did she say?
Then Suho, *speechless*, only responded with a smile.

They were asked about how they feel about the other members? (Or was it like that? (o´∀｀o))

Then Teukie asked, "Then, was there any member you wanted to become friends because he was handsome like i did with Siwon?"

All the members answered YES.

Baek Hyun: When I first saw Kris, I thought he looked like me so I wanted to become friends with him.

Suho: I had a crush on LU HAN from EXO-M.

LU HAN (talking to Suho): Saranghamnida. (I love you.) (o´∀｀o)

Suho: ~ at first sight.

KAI: I didn't know that SE HUN was handsome three years ago. But then I realized that he got more handsome.
(really, my top 3 biases are present in this 'handsome' topic. HAHAHA)

Who has the most aegyo?
Suho: Tao for me. (I forgot the exact phrase. hahaha).
Baek Hyun: SE HUN from EXO-K has much aegyo.
Lee Teuk: Where are you SE HUN? You are the youngest?

After making cute faces, including KAI (Teukie chose him, I think, because he included KAI in that aegyo thingy. HAHAHA)

Lee Teuk: So, now we discovered that only the youngest has the aegyo. (SE HUN)

Hi~ EXO ~Story

First of all, I entitled this post "Hi~ EXO ~Story" since this is about the first time I've seen EXO. Cuz when you meet someone for the first time, you say "Hi!". (o´∀｀o) hahaha, and also to relate the title to their song, HISTORY which really addicted me. (o´∀｀o)

I had the time to update about KPop just recently, cuz last semester, we had our thesis and I was kinda busy that time. It was a really blessed week for me, btw. On Tuesday that week, our group was the champion during the KAYA Annual Quiz Bowl and two days later, our thesis defense was a success.

On the night of December 31st in the year 2007, I couldn't sleep at all. So I got off the bed and turned on the TV when I found out there was a Korean channel on our cable TV! (Why didn't I know that sooner? hahaha (o´∀｀o)) It was the KBS World. And I was really excited to watch since the show was Music Festival and I was a rookie KPop fan that time, having Super Junior as my ultimate bias group (until now). I felt really happy watching Super Junior perform Don't Don. Since then, whenever I watched TV, I always turned the channel to KBS World until suddenly, I can no longer locate the channel. Our cable TV service provider took it away. I was so sad.

So last December 31, I was determined to watch the Music Festival online. I tried searching and trying different sites on live streaming, then I found one site that was really streaming the music festival, live! Yeay! (o´∀｀o)

But then,

When you don't have any Korean channel on your cable TV. Hopeless!

Being so frustrated, I decided to watch MVs instead. Then I remembered SM Entertainment's new pop group, EXO.

Let me share my story about my journey to becoming an Exotic or whatever they call it, since EXO doesn't have an official fan club name yet. (o´∀｀o)

I first saw Lu Han and Kai in MAXSTEP MV by Younique Unit, and I find them adorable and handsome (o´∀｀o). So I watched the HISTORY MV by EXO-M, and I got really addicted! I can no longer recall how many times I've replayed the MV. Until now, the song and the video still lingers on my mind.

Not just HISTORY, but I also watched 'EXO Teaser 2 Kai and Lu Han' a couple of times. Time Control. (o´∀｀o)

I don't know why, but I prefer EXO-M over EXO-K.

Randomly, one time, I tried to remember the number of days I've been an EXO fan. Then I recalled, I became one on the midnight of January 1, 2013! The very first hour of the new year! And I was like, "WOW! Amazing! What an exotic new year!" hahaha (o´∀｀o)

Since that time, Lu Han has always been my number one bias. Kai crept up on my bias list and grabbed the second spot. Then, the cute, youngest Se Hun on the third. I'm not really sure if the ranking will change since I have not updated more about them yet. But in Super Junior-15, HENRY has always been ranked the first. But with the main SuJu, leader Teuk has been pinned the number one.

RinRin and Cheesie in Kawaii International

During the December vacation of 2012, the two channels that always met my eyes were Disney Channel (because of Phineas and Ferb) and NHK World (sadly, it's the only Japanese Channel on our cable TV). One of my favorite shows in NHK World is the Kawaii International.

They were showing the "VIEWERS' CHOICE 2012" and that time, it was the 3rd episode of Kawaii International entitled "Tips and Challenges to succeed in JAPAN" with special guests, Cheesie and RinRin.

CHEESIE is a fashion blogger from Malaysia. She won Nuffnang Asia Pacific Awards 2011 Best Fashion Blog title.

She explained that you need to learn the gyaru slang to read about Japanese fashion.

One example is the JK egg magazine. At first, Cheesie thought that JK meant "Japanese and Korean Fashion", but it is a slang that means joshi kosei (high school girl).

RinRin, the wizardress of expression, is a lolita model from the US. In this episode, she explained how she started her journey to becoming a famous kawaii lolita model.

At first, she didn't know the first step, then she was told that she must enter and do good in street snaps. That's how she started and later became a lolita model. My Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Last year, I've been telling my younger brothers that I'll be practicing how to bake cookies. So this afternoon, one of them came to me to remind me about what I've said. Since I want to have experience in baking, so I tried. I followed this recipe, and here's the result:

Hahaha! Have you ever baked cookies that looked like bread? Or is this how most of the cookies of a first time baker looks like? (o´∀｀o)

Anyway, these were really soft and chewy . . . and kinda overbaked. I've been warned about how a toaster oven can bake cookies faster than using the oven. But I didn't know how to stop it when I saw that the cookies were already good. I can't just unplug the toaster oven easily without hearing its clicking sound first and stop itself automatically.

Honestly, I tasted the mixture before baking it, and I must admit, it tasted a lot better before than after baking. Hahaha (o´∀｀o)

We ate the cookies with Lotte's Let's Be mild coffee. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

This drink starred in a Korean movie, My Boyfriend is Type B.

Well, it doesn't look exactly the same, but they sure look really close.

Il Mare

What would you do when the one you love lives in a different time zone? Would you still be happy if she lives 2 years ahead? Would you feel the same if he lives 2 years behind your present time? This is the uniqueness in this movie. You can neither laugh nor cry, but it’s the twist of time that made me want to watch it through. It is a sad story without having a sad ending. (o´∀｀o)

Il Mare, which means “sea”, was the name of the house. Before Kim Eun Joo moved to another place, she left one mail telling the next occupant to send to her new address the mails that will still be sent to Il Mare. At the end of the mail, she indicated the date, December of 1999. Then she placed it in the mail box of Il Mare.

Sung Hyun, the “new” occupant of the house read the letter. He replied to Eun Joo’s letter dated December of 1997. When Eun Joo noticed the date, she told him about it, and Sung Hyun answered that he really was living in the year 1997.

While they exchanged letters through the mail box in Il Mare, Eun Joo noticed that it was the mail box. It was the one that connected them to their different time zones. They continued exchanging letters and gradually fell for one another.

Eun Joo told him about the things that will happen at that time of the year in his time zone, such as the heavy snow fall and when influenza was prevalent. Sung Hyun told her that he wanted to see her. So she arranged a date that they would meet at one beach, where she planned to live her whole life, on the 11th of March (I think : )) 2000, Saturday. Sung Hyun must wait for 2 years to go there. When Eun Joo went to the beach, she saw that there was a house under construction. She saw the design of the house and asked who would live there and the one assigned answered that it was designed by her upper classmate for the one whom he loved. Without any clue, Eun Joo went ahead to the beach and waited for some time.

Then she told him about her ex-boyfriend who left her. She told him the last time where she and her ex-boyfriend met. It was in Yuoido. Definitely, Sung Hyun would go there. ( =̴̶̷̤̄ .̫ =̴̶̷̤̄ )

In Eun Joo’s time, she visited the architectural institution where Sung Hyun worked (I think). Then she saw the design that was in the beach. She was told that Blah Sung Hyun designed it for Kim Eun Joo. Then added that Sung Hyun  when he went to Yuoido to meet with someone, he was hit by a car. “It was a car accident.”

In a hurry, Eun Joo sent a letter to Sung Hyun not to go in Yuoido, crying and telling herself it was her fault.

Then the accident was showed, and Sung Hyun died. I was really sad. But that was not what happened. Sung Hyun received the letter and was still alive. (Yeay!)

At the end of the movie, the first scene was flashed back. When Eun Joo was about to move from Il Mare, Sung Hyun showed up and said, “I am going to tell you a very long story.”

The end. Yeay, he did not die, and they really met! Hahahaha. Much better. ( ¤̴̶̷̤́ ‧̫̮ ¤̴̶̷̤̀ )
